Vanishing Worlds: Art and Ritual in Amazonia

The Sunday Topic Tour at the Birmingham Museum of art this Sunday, July 20th, focuses on the Vanishing Worlds: Art and Ritual in Amazonia exhibition showcasing spectacular and rare works of Amazonian material culture, including full body costumes, masks, feather headdresses, body ornaments, baskets, weapons, pottery, and textiles.

These docent-led tours on a variety of topics related to the collection or current exhibition meet in the Eighth Avenue lobby at 2pm. They are free and open to the public.
